What begins as a group of transgender women aligning their voices to reflect their gender identity unfolds into a powerful exploration of how voice shapes identity, survival and social perception.
VOICE SHIFT was one of only two projects funded by both Aesthetica and Audible for the Listening Pitch 2025, selected from 700 applications.
The film had its world premiere at the Aesthetica Short Film Festival 2025, and is now being distributed by Audible for an international film festival run.
Winner of ‘Best Documentary Short’ at the Cleveland International Film Festival (Oscar Qualifying).
